LA TOMATINA FESTİVAL
Hello! My name ıs Andres Santos. I m from Spaın and we celebrate “La Tomatina”. It is a fighting festival, but not with guns. We fight with food! (1) It is in August. The festival is in Bunol, Valencia. (2) Thousands of people come to Bunol from different countries.
The festival starts at 11 in the morning. (3) A person climbs up a pole; takes the ham and the festival starts. (4) There are many trucks full of tomatoes and people throw tomatoes each other. We dance, watch the parade, listen to music. It’s so enjoyable and people have fun. (5) But we wear safety goggles and gloves.
After the festival, (6) we clean the streets because tomatoes are everywhere. In the evening we watch firework shows. We love La Tomatina!
