Ankara, the Capital city of Türkiye is the political çenter of Türkiye and it has no sea. However, for the natives of Ankara, it has always been their pleasant and cozy home. With its modern and concrete buildings, and its population över five million people, Ankara is a land of opportunity. Many people immigrate to Ankara so that they can find jobs in fields such as medicine, engineering, and teaching.
Also, Ankara has important historic sites. One of these sites is Gordion, which used to be the Capital City of Phrygia. İt is about 100 kilometers southwest of Ankara and a definite must-see. If you go there, you’ll see the remains of a City, around which Phrygians used to have their one- roomed simple houses. This civilization was a kingdom in which warriors and farmers lived. The population of Gordion is unknown. İt was also the commercial çenter of the region. İn short, both Ankara and Gordion are great places to see.
